I invite you to a unique holistic yoga week in the beautiful island of Crete to regenerate your body and mind, take care of your health and feel better than ever. Who doesn’t need a break from everyday life, from work, from family, from stress overload, from ongoing stress? How to approach the Summer season just feeling good? Approaching life with yourself in the centre, making time for deep rest. To truly and fully regenerate, and feel at your best, you must first and foremost feel optimum.


Join me and treat yourself to a yoga week in Crete. This week you’ll slow down, disconnect yourself from the world for 6 days in the beautiful surroundings, the beaches, the Mediterranean Sea, the peace and the wilderness of the spectacular Cretan South coast. You’ll relax physically and mentally and nourish yourself with freshly prepared local and seasonal foods. You will be immersed and guided with a daily yoga routine, including meditation, breathing exercises, chanting, silent walks, relax. We will enjoy local vegetarian healthy food and herbal teas.


Beautifully, yoga classes take place on the patio to the sounds of the birds and the sea each morning and evening. After the delicious brunch, you take a dip in the sea with a quick trip down the beach or maybe just relax in our lovely Casa Doria, our homestay for one week. You may also wish to explore the surrounding area. All levels are welcome and everyone will benefit from the natural environment we will be sharing together these days.

7:15 – 8:00 Meditation & Chants / morning walk
8:00 Herbal tea or fresh drink served
8:30 - 10 a.m. Morning yoga stretch and loosen up
10 - 11 a.m. Free time
11 a.m. – 12 Brunch
10 – 5 p.m. Group adventure on Monday (optional)
12 - 4 p.m. Free Time Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
4 – 5:30 p.m. Yin yoga/asana workshop/sound bath
6 - 7 p.m. Dinner on the patio
9:00 - 9:30 p.m. Kirtan / meditation / relaxation

Instructor

Marina Kalyani Pieri

Marina fell in love with yoga during a vacation in Thailand in 2009. She trained in fashion communication, advertising and media and is a former European advertising manager. After 13 years of a full-time career as a manager in a famous multinational company, she decided to leave the race for success to embark on a trip to India which also led her to study and deepen different yoga traditions and techniques. Following her passion, she has completed several teacher training courses and seminars of different styles and approaches over the years including: Hatha Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Vinyasa, Power yoga, Yin yoga, Iyengar, Meditation, Pranayama, Kirtan & Chanting, Ayurvedic yoga massage.
Italian by birth, she spent the last six years in India, one year in the ashram where she began teaching. With nearly 500 hours of teacher trainings and over 1000 hours of teaching, she offers beginner and intermediate classes in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin yoga, retreats, workshops, one-on-one, online/live group classes that integrate alignment and breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation and chanting. Marina has the ability to adapt to the needs of individuals and groups. Her classes are effective and detailed and she creates a safe space to encourage and challenge you in equal measure.
Bhakti yoga the devotional aspect of yoga is another great passion of hers that she integrates into her retreats and workshops. Kalyani is the name she received in the ashram which started her spiritual journey. Yoga has given Marina the confidence to make big life changes that she is so grateful for and embrace a life that is more suited to the way she wants to live. She lives between India, Italy and Greece. Language skills: Italian (fluent), English (fluent), French (fluent).





Paco Rodriguez

A professional musician since his adolescence, head of the musical projects SITARSONIC and KUNDALINI AIRPORT, began studying the sitar in 1994 in Varanasi, India. During the 1990s he passed a lot of time with sadhus (nomadic mystics) between Varanasi and the Himalayas, practicing yoga and learning Hindu mythology and Vedanta. He then lived 10 years in a Buddhist Vipassana meditation centre. For twenty-five years, he has been leading kirtan in yoga and meditation centres between India and Europe. He also offers sound baths for yoga classes with his sitar. He lives between India and Greece. Language skills: French (fluent), English (fluent), Spanish (fluent) Hindi (basic).
